I read a Dear Abby article the other day. And, I really liked it. In short version, a lady was dying, and knew it. So, she moved all the holidays up, celebrated them with her family and friends. They came from miles away. And, it also gave her a chance to say good bye to everyone. She called it her living wake.
Abby said - "Let loved ones know today how important they are to you. If there is a way of resolving a family disagreement, do it. Finally, appreciate and enjoy the time we have with family relatives and dfriends. It is truly irreplaceable."
If you are one of those people who has a hard time saying "I love you", please try to get over that. Those 3 words are some of the most comforting and strong words there are. It makes you feel good for someone to tell you that they love you.
Life flies by so fast, don't regret showing your feelings now, not after someone has passed.
I just felt compelled to post this.

What an absolutely gorgeous day today here in Indiana
We have been so lucky these past few weeks, it has been an absolutely gorgeous fall so far. We are still in need of rain though. Today, it is so nice - it is warm enough for shorts, but cool enough to be super comfortable, no humidity, a slight breeze, and, a beautiful sunshiny sky. I am so loving it!!! (now for winter that follows - not so much) LOL
This maple tree is our first sign of autumn, in our yard. Believe me, the picture does not do it justice, it is really pretty. Shades of red, orange, yellow, rust, and green. It is really pretty.
